About The Band

Somewhere on the outskirts of California’s Central Coast lies the gritty garage and rehearsal space of three best friends known as The Moonjacks. Formed shortly after high school and inseparable ever since, this DIY punk trio quickly built a reputation for infectious live shows and sun-drenched, hook-laden tracks that caught the attention of indie label exec Brian Witkin, leading to their signing with San Diego’s Pacific Records.

Their first single, “Sk8 Hi,” gained traction organically before being picked up by Spotify’s algorithm, landing them on major playlists like “New Music Friday” and “Surf Rock Sunshine,” with millions of listeners. Their debut LP, Bad Guy Stuff, followed, earning warm fan reception, underground acclaim, and a major network placement on Fox’s Welcome to Flatch for their track “Bummer.”

The band’s unrelenting dedication soon led to a G&L Guitars sponsorship, equipping them with new gear for their first international tour. After a series of shows in Southern California, they embarked on a three-month European run, performing at iconic events like Oktoberfest in Germany and the Running of the Bulls in Spain, ultimately wrapping up back home in California, opening as side stage support for The 1975 at San Diego’s Pechanga Arena.

Recently, The Moonjacks returned to Los Angeles to record their second LP, this time collaborating with producer Aaron Moxness and DIY punk veteran Zac Carper of FIDLAR, bringing new energy and grit to their evolving sound.
